Short-term Rentals

Effective August 22, 2020, short-term and vacation rentals in condominiums or hotel buildings are permitted with occupancy limits. Maximum daytime and overnight occupancy is up to two persons per bedroom plus two additional persons per rental unit, not to exceed four persons total—unless a single family group is staying together, in which case the limit is six persons per rental unit.

Vacation Rental Safety

Vacation rentals have been approved for reopening pursuant to the County's safety plan. For current status, visit the Florida vacation rental status page.

Cancellation and Rebooking Policy

Due to COVID-19, government emergency orders may cause cancellation of vacation rentals, regulate duration of stay, restrict amenities, or affect other booking-related matters. Please inquire before making decisions regarding new bookings or future stays.

If travel is restricted or other COVID-19 issues prevent you from making your trip, and you cancel or delay at least 30 days prior to your arrival date, you are eligible for free rebooking for the full value of your reservation, valid up to one year from your original check-in date, with no loss to you. Any new reservation will be honored based on availability and the prevailing rate for those dates.

If you prefer not to rebook for a future date, a 25% cancellation fee applies if cancellation is made at least 30 days prior to arrival. To avoid this fee, you may make a new booking as described above.
